As the price of battery storage decreases, the viability of building large scale
On October 23 the Australian Renewable Energy Agency officially commissioned a 30 MW battery storage system in Victoria. See link to arena.gov.au article for further information:

Last November Tesla’s 100 MW battery storage plant was turned on in South Australia.
These systems are a welcome addition to the grid as they provide storage for excess electricity produced by intermittent renewableenergy sources
