... in this case, a chandelier three years in the making (yes, you read that right; from the initial concept through to the final installation, it took three years!).

This fantastic time-lapse video, courtesy of Sydney Coliseum Theatre, shows the painstaking process of installing each of the 241 individual strands of crystals, by hand.

Designed by Cox Architecture and created by Yellow Goat Design, the chandelier is suspended over the Chadelier Bar, the centrepiece of the entry foyer, encircled by the grand staircase. It really is an impressive sight!
