The Art House, Wyong

The Art House officially opened in May 2016 in Wyong, the heart of the Central Coast, and has the aim of providing a professional performing arts’ space for the community, as well as bringing national and international touring productions to the Central Coast. The Art House is a 500-seat theatre and 130 retractable seat studio with exhibition foyer, meeting room, shop and bar.

Planning by the former Wyong Shire Council for The Art House began in early 2009 to respond to an identified need for a suitable venue for both amateur and professional performing arts groups as well as the broader arts community on the Central Coast. The project was a greenfield site designed by architects TZG and construction by North Construction.

Haron Robson designed the electrical, communications, specialist lighting design and the AV coordination with the theatre system. The total cost for the project was $12.7 Million.
