Aqua, Fitness & Leisure Centre

Campbelltown Catholic Club

Since 1989 we have been providing design advice to this facility which is currently around 35000sqm in enclosed area. We developed energy, electrical and lighting master plans for the site which includes dining, entertainment, gaming, fitness, accommodation and aquatic centres. We also designed, documented and managed the implementation of the systems for each stage of the project.

The Aquafit Centre incorporates a range of services and in its first months of operation attracted 5,000 new members to the Club. The facility incorporates exercise areas for aerobics, weights, machines as well as swimming pools. These active areas are supported by amenities, changerooms, child-minding, retail and administration areas.

Aquafit was a project which sought to achieve high standards for minimal costs in terms of the life of the installation. When viewed from the exterior of the building, the pool hall and its occupants are revealed clearly with good modelling. Switching modes are provided to allow automatic control of the lighting to suit time of day, outside day lighting levels and use of the space.
