Haron Robson has a long history of providing training and support for the next generation of electrical engineers, lighting designers, draftspeople and audio visual planners - over the years many apprentices have graduated from trainee status within the ranks of Haron Robson and have gone on to become talented and highly respected professionals in their own right.

The tradition continues to this day, and we are very proud to announce that our very own Patrick O’Dowd has recently been awarded Apprentice of the Year in the Engineering Drafting category at the inaugural Manufacturing and Engineering Institute of Australia (MEIA) National Engineering Apprentice of the Year Awards.

The awards were developed to raise awareness of career opportunities in the engineering and manufacturing sector, and the winners were presented with their awards and prizes during the celebration at Bankstown Sports Club on 20th June. Patrick was acknowledged for his exceptional contribution to his workplace, having been nominated for the award by his teachers at TAFE and supported in his entry by his colleagues here at Haron Robson.

Like Patrick, our Project Co-ordinator Josh Webb started life at Haron Robson as a trainee draftsperson and has recently commenced his studies in Project Management at the University of Sydney. .

Haron Robson has a long history of employing, training and mentoring apprentices, trainees and interns who have gone on to become very successful in their careers.

We take pride in our support of the engineering industries and we are committed to educate the stars of the future.
