Kristy Philp, Bow Jaruwangsanti and Christa van Zoeren, members of the Haron Robson lighting design team,  have collaboratively designed a light sculpture which has been chosen as an exhibit in the light walk element of this year’s VIVID Sydney festival.

VIVID Sydney is a festival of light, music and ideas which runs from 27th May to 13th June throughout The Rocks, Circular Quay and other points around the harbour foreshore and the city.  Including large and small-scale light installations and projections, music performances, conferences and seminars, Vivid Sydney is presented by The New South Wales Government through Events New South Wales and is now established as Sydney's major winter festival.

The lighting design team here at Haron Robson have been chosen to have their light art sculpture in the Vivid Light element of the festival. Vivid Light is a family-friendly designated walk route around  The Rocks and Circular Quay precinct featuring a series of light art installations and architectural lighting around some of Sydney’s most iconic buildings.

With selection based on the creativity of the design, public interaction, uses of technology and the energy efficiency of the sculpture, competition was fierce as submissions were received from many local and international artists . Haron Robson is proud to have been selected and be part of this high-profile festival.

We look forward to seeing you there!
