Summitcare Baulkham Hills – Keeping Health and Sophistication Together

Completed in 2017, The Haron Robson and Lightmatters team joined forces with Richard Crookes Constructions, Abinon, Boffa Robertson Group, Donald Cant Watts Corke and Chada Interiors into bringing light to Summitcare Baulkham Hills.

With a budget of $47.8 million, the 232-bed, state-of-the-art residential aged care facility is Summitcare’s largest residential care centre to date, and it incorporates a range of supplementary services such as high and low care with dementia, a behavioural secure unit and specialist palliative wing.

The Haron Robson team were commissioned by the Project Manager to provide electrical consultancy relating to master planning and concept development through to tender and implementation, ensuring the facility catered to the diverse needs of residents.

Notably, our Lightmatters team added a touch of sophistication, creating an ambiance that rivals to a five-star hotel experience for residents and visitors.

With all elements of design considered, including mobility and the creation of accessible spaces, the 3-level facility offers residents flexible access such as cafés, nail salon and hairdressers, a wellness centre and family accommodation, embodying both functionality and well-being.
