Haron Robson lighting designers are selected for the VIVID festival

Kristy Philp, Bow Jaruwangsanti and Christa van Zoeren, members of the Haron Robson lighting design team,  have collaboratively designed a light sculpture which has been chosen as an exhibit in the light walk element of this year’s VIVID Sydney festival.

Haron Robson assists Rooty Hill RSL to lead NSW Clubs in Emerging Technology

Tri-generation accounts for 10-15% of power generation in Europe, however due to the abundance of coal and the fact that it is relatively cheap in Australia  there is little incentive for Australian companies to adopt tri-generation.

The unveiling of Rooty Hill RSL's new Tri-generation plant

Rooty Hill RSL Australia’s largest RSL club, announced the completion of its environmentally tri-generation power plant on Tuesday 21st September 2010. Tri-generation is the simultaneous production of three forms of energy: electricity, heating and cooling from a single system. It is nearly three times more energy efficient than a coal-fired power station.

St Peter's Cathedral - Haron Robson wins another IES Lighting Award

Earlier this year Haron Robson - lightmatters® was awarded a NSW IES Luminaire Design Award for St Peters Cathedral. This special luminaire (light fitting) was developed in conjunction with Clive Lucas Stapelton and Partners during the restoration of this classic Horbury Hunt designed building. The purpose of these awards is to promote quality in the design and manufacture of luminaires within NSW. It is the second time Haron Robson have won this award and follows awards for lighting installations received in late 2009 for Bankstown District Sports Club's Grand Ballroom and TZG's Paddington Reservoir Gardens.

Lighting Council Sets LED Standards

In response to the lack of LED standards, Lighting Council of Australia has introduced a Solid State Lighting Quality Scheme.
