Woolooware Bay Town Centre is a master planned development including approximately 625 residential apartments and a 17,800sqm retail centre with an anticipated end project value of $752 Million which will form a vibrant new Town Centre for the Sutherland Shire.
Full Article »The Art House officially opened in May 2016 in Wyong, the heart of the Central Coast, and has the aim of providing a professional performing arts’ space for the community, as well as bringing national and international touring productions to the Central Coast. The Art House is a 500-seat theatre and 130 retractable seat studio with exhibition foyer, meeting room, shop and bar.

Full Article »The development of the Aquatic Centre marked the Centenary of Pymble Ladies College in Sydney incorporating Olympic swimming and diving pool, water polo facility, fitness centre and learn to swim pool. The centre is designed to international Olympic standards with state of the art technology, video and lighting systems.

Full Article »Congratulations to MPA on winning the MBA award for the New Foyer and Porte Cochere at Mounties at Mt Pritchard. The winning award was in the category of Construction between $5M-$10M and was one of six won by MPA on the night.

Full Article »Completed in 2015, Haron Robson lightmatters were commissioned by Architect, Saunders Global, on the basis of innovation and uniqueness: to attain “A feeling of brightness” rather than conventional illuminance as key to achieving a good customer experience, revisiting the store, increasing the products purchases and reducing overheads by increased energy effectiveness.
Full Article »The lighting design approach to the Garrison Church was something of a contradiction. It would have been easier to add lighting from the existing points and minimise the impact on appearance, as well as the costs or complications of installing new lighting points. It was decided that the compromises inherent in using the existing points meant any new lighting solution could risk appearing as an unsympathetic add-on to this heritage space.
Full Article »The recent 2016 MBA Awards saw Paynter Dixon win the award for the $15M-$20M category in Construction for the extension of the Travelodge at Bankstown Sports Club. The masterplan included extending the existing four-storey hotel over the club to eight-storeys. The building was originally built in the 1990’s with structural components of the building designed for the capacity of the additional floors.

Full Article »Rooty Hill RSL Australia’s largest RSL club, announced the completion of its environmentally tri-generation power plant on Tuesday 21st September 2010. Tri-generation is the simultaneous production of three forms of energy: electricity, heating and cooling from a single system. It is nearly three times more energy efficient than a coal-fired power station.

Full Article »Earlier this year Haron Robson - lightmatters® was awarded a NSW IES Luminaire Design Award for St Peters Cathedral. This special luminaire (light fitting) was developed in conjunction with Clive Lucas Stapelton and Partners during the restoration of this classic Horbury Hunt designed building. The purpose of these awards is to promote quality in the design and manufacture of luminaires within NSW. It is the second time Haron Robson have won this award and follows awards for lighting installations received in late 2009 for Bankstown District Sports Club's Grand Ballroom and TZG's Paddington Reservoir Gardens.
